Is it biblical to think that physical attraction must be a component of a godly marriage?

When we take scripture literally that can be a good thing. On the other hand, you have to realize that the Bible has been copied and recopied and many Truths Christ taught were not grasped by those of his day but also edited OUT of the Bible because of ignorance & hunger for power to control others.
Apply wisdom & pray to the Father through Christ and keep balanced and not making scripture into a religion.

When Adam saw Eve, he was excited. I think if a man is *not* physically attracted to his wife, there will be problems in the marriage. Physical attraction is not as important than character, but it shouldn’t be dismissed entirely.

Physical beauty is directly related to a persons health, physiologically, the attributes that are considered beautiful are those which are promoted through being healthy. BMI directly relates to fertility, there is a reason why men value certain characteristics, because they are a sign of fertility. That being said, I agree, we should focus on cultivating our spirits. I also think however, we should try to take care of our temples in the best way we know how, /w principles outlined in scripture.
