Mind Control Techniques in Religion (Part 2: Building Rapport)
This is part 2 of a series where I talk about how specific tactics can be used to increase suggestibility, trust, and dependency. This series will be talking about how these techniques can be used in a religious context. Disclaimer: Mind control does not mean that someone does something against there will. It is a set of tactics used to influence someone’s actions, thoughts, and behaviors. It is not ONLY used in a religious setting. It is simply the focus of this series.

You’re brilliant, and you’ve come a long way. Keep going. As someone raised in the church I can absolutely agree with your assessments of the techniques they use, ‘cuz the churches I went to used them all.
Religion. Is. A. Business. Period.
Can you explain the right way to figure out the truth about these things?
This is something my dad warned me about (clothing/power). He said you can look at what leaders wear and determine from where they draw their power.
US President/lawyer = suit = money / commerce.
Saddam Hussein / Castro = khaki = military / weaponry.
It’s definitely a piece of the puzzle, in religion and just about everywhere else.
Sending you a long note on this subject that will hopefully be interesting, but since you’re in the mental health field, it’s probably old news to you.
